http://www.csa.gov.uk/ This is the Child Support Agency in United Kingdom, who knows
what they may say if anything - but I'm sure we all wish you well.

I know this is the other way around but when I was talking to my UK lawyer before I
moved to the US he said that if I wanted to I could stop paying my child support in
the UK because the CSA could do "Jack Shit" about it. How else could I be driving my
new Eclipse.

Yeah i kind of think that once you move to the USA you do actually leave your former life behind, what do uk companies do about debts that you owe them? can they legally chase you, just wondering because what you said about the child support.

As far as I can tell, Grinch's lawyer is correct.... Having experienced the gross
misuse of power across state boundaries, I am glad it isn't an international problem.
The state involved was relying on county court records from a backwards county to
indicate I was in arrears. They would not take my word, my company's word, or my
ex-wife's word that there were no arrears...They just sent a withholding order to my
employer, who had to obey it by Federal law, even though it was from out of state...
Of course, that didn't stop the ex-wife from cashing the checks, either.

Re: O/T Child Support
In nmost cases I don't think that UK companyies can do anything if you move out of
the county, this is due to the data protection Act.
BUt do not take this or anything else I say as legal advice.
