Re: Leasing a car through IAS - Ford options
I got one of those for a different make, on a lease, because it was cheap. It covered a bunch of small things I would have needed to pay for like long scratches, food stains (useful when you have young kids), a non-original side mirror I had replaced, and damaged bumper.

Thank you everyone for your responses.
I knew you would all be able to help me out on this. You all make so much sense.
It's darn lonely out here right now. We've not come across any expats yet, and I don't know who else to ask. I'm meeting lots of friendly mum's at school but we feel a bit like we're a novelty at the moment.
Thanks
Oh yeah, and we waiting for our Explorer Sport 4WD (with moonroof) based on alot of helpful suggestion from here

Don't hitch your wagon to other expats-- take advantage of the friendly overtures, you never know what may stick! I always think looking for folks with similar interests (library? Gym? Dogs? Art?) is a better way towards getting your new life in gear than trying to get back to your roots. Good luck!
I hope that once the dust settles around us a bit I can get 'out there' with the dogs or running and meet others besides being "Mom".
