We've got the right amount of space for what we want now - play space for the kids, pool, water, neighbours on one side, no back neighbours, park over the road and close enough to school that the kids can bike safely. We looked at moving a couple of years ago, but even almost doubling the price, we couldn't find anything to move to....

So even though my company refused to let me work remotely, today I got an offer for a job in the RTP in North Carolina so I'm going to accept that and move as soon as I have my EAD.

A colleague of mine has lived there for 20 years and gave me plenty of advice but not totally decided yet. I'm leaning towards RTP area, somewhere like Apex.
I'd rather not disclose the company though for fairly obvious reasons.
