We used Britannia for UK to Georgia. They were great. Small matter of the ship running aground a couple of miles off the south of the English coast, but it all got here. Of course a few breakages (expect to lose a few things and insure as we did... No issues getting replacements but you must list anything on the inventory you might later need to claim for, otherwise it's not covered)

Go to yell.co.uk (which is apt, considering you posted in all capitals ) and search for <international freight> in the city/ county where your pallet of belongings is located. Pick two or three companies and ask them for quotes.
For a small quantity like yours you're either going to get a shared half (20ft) container, or they might recommend airfreight, which is what happened last time I need to ship a few boxes and a large metal trunk. The handling costs of surface shipping (after the shared container arrived in the US it would have to be split up into separate smaller shipments from the port to various locations) meant that it didn't cost much more for airfreight, and I got my stuff less than a week later, instead of a couple of months.

We used John Mason in the UK to Australia - but they were international so I'm sure would do the US.
They were faultless. One crappy glass broken in the whole journey.

One word of caution. Do just check that the company you pick is actually genuine. Call them up, check online that their address is genuine etc. Kinda obvious, but there have been horror stories of someone's stuff being picked up and never getting where it was supposed to because the people who picked it up never intended to take it anywhere except their own destination...
