Hello all,

Moved here to Seattle just over a month ago. Just getting settled in now and just found this website...

Well Jerseygirl, here goes...

Originally from Brum, University in Newcastle for 3 years, worked in Swindon for 4 (with a 6 month expat assignment in Beijing), then 3 years in Cambridge with a 9 month stint in New Jersey! While I was in NJ, I was headhunted so am now in Seattle :-)

Not married and no plans on doing so, nor having any little (or big ones). Girlfriend is in Vancouver so being in Seattle is soooo much better for us than the last 4 years of long distance relationship between Swindon <> Beijing, Swindon <> Vancouver, Cambridge <> Vancouver, and NJ <> Ottawa during this summer when she was going an internship over there!

Anything I've missed? Oh, shoe-size is 8.5, varies over here though!

Welcome to BE:

Used to live in Cheltenham, so know Swindon well. Ok not that well, only the Great Western Outlet Village, and the road to the M4 junction.

Seattle was one of our choices for moving to when we came out here, been there a couple of times (actually hubby there next week) loved it, but chose Phoenix instead.

Have fun and hope you enjoy it.

Oh is it that time already? It seems like it's come around fast, although it probably doesn't feel like it for you, I don't know how you do it. You better get some rest while you can!
