Noooooooo! I can't even begin to count the number of times I've read a post and thought to myself 'I've no idea, but Ian will sort it'. Your unique brand of huge knowledge coupled with direct advice is a big part of BE.

Yes, me neither. Well, I used to help out a bit but now I can barely remember all the steps I went through, which have probably all changed now anyway, so I don't really bother anymore.

His posts always seemed very knowledgeable and he put a lot of time in so a big loss to the forum for sure.
Seems an odd way to approach it though. If you don't want to post anymore, just stop or cut back. You don't need to vote yourself off... it isn't Big Brother.
