Has anyone travelled recently (in the past week or 2) to the UK?

I'm due to travel in just a few days time (not been since the past couple of years), and just wanting to know if anything's been changed re. security/what your not supposed to put in check in bag and so on..

I know of the mobile phone/electronics being recharged and so on, any other things that I should be aware of?

I have a Google Chromecast (unopened) that I'll be taking with me (in check in bag), would that by any chance pose a problem?

Any other tips welcome!

PS: Not travelled Internationally since the past 2 years, only been travelling within the country, hence the question...

Traveled extensively in the UK and Europe the past few weeks.
No major changes. Kept everything charged but nothing was ever specifically checked.
