The following maps lists all the public elementary and secondary schools in the San Diego area. Click on a symbol to get more information about the school (school name, school district, ranking, etc.).

Most of the schools in the San Diego area are in the San Diego Unified School District. The following link allows you to get a boundry map (attendance area) for any school within the district.

There is also a locator on the site that allows you to enter an address to determine the school that will be attended for that address.

We just moved from San Diego, and would have to say I would be surprised if you could get a decent 3 bedder in either Encinitas or Solana Beach for under $3k unless it was way inland. We were renting a 3 bed with loft and 2 bathrooms in University City for $2950. Rents in San Diego are way out of wack for the quality. Add in the traffic is absolute shite so if I was you I would start looking for something closer to work. I saw Alpine was a suggestion, that is a fair old hike so would not be on my list of places to look.
