ive got a few questions ...what if a illegal immigrant gets pregnant by
a us citizen ? can the mother become or is she automatically a us
citizen ? an if not what happens ? like what if the mother is caught but
pregnant doe's she get deported even tho she's carrying the us citizens
baby ? i cant find the answer to this anywhere .. please respond so me
and my friend can end this quarrel thank you ...

Having a child in the US does *not* give a parent any immigration rights.
If the mother is illegal, she can be deported, pregnant or not.
The child can obviously stay with the US citizen parent...

Once the child turns 21, he or she could sponsor the mother for a Greencard.

This is all standard procedure as defined in the immigration law.

She can become a US citizen as a result of having the child once the
child turns 21, if the child chooses to sponsor her.

The pregnancy makes no difference to whether or not she gets deported.

Only thing she can do to become legal - officially marry that guy. Then,
after that she can apply for permanent residency. Been pregnant does not
give any rights, marriage does.

That assumes she entered the US legally and is simply out of status.
If she is completely undocumented even marrying him may not help.

Well me and my wife (she's Malaysian)..and our daughter is 4 years
old.We've had interviews..etc.The last we heard from INS was that
after they told her to leave the country,or file an appeal.She filed
the appeal..they set up an interview for the appeal.She did not show.
I was told she would be deported if she failed to show.Well that was
6 months ago...have heard nothing.Ironically this lawyer she has got
for this told me that she CANNOT discuss the case with me.WTF..I
am the sponsor!?Needless to say...I feel something is wrong.But we
have been having alot of problems..big problems..and she has said
that she is taking my daughter if she leaves.Her being Muslim is not
a big help either...dunno..but as long as this lawyer and my wife is
going to keep things from me...I hope they do deport her.

She cannot legally take your daughter out of the country if she is deported without your consent.

Sounds to me like you need to concentrate on getting a solid custody case for your US citizen daughter on track, instead of being busy with your (ex?)wife's deportation-or-not.

What caused the big problems at a time like this? Why is the lawyer
siding with her to keep things form you?

Without your support, she most likely would get deported. If you want
her to be deported, you are not thinking for your child. But..the
main thing is what caused the big problems? Why your wife is keeping
you in the dark. It seems that she prefers to get deported, i.e to
get away from you with the child. Why?

BYW, did you ever promise to her that you would convert or at least
let the child be raised in Islam and then do the opposite? I couldn't
imagine a Muslim woman marrying a non-Muslim guy uless the guy agreed
to convert or let the child be raised in Islam OR unless she is not
serious about Islam enough to raise her child in Islam. Whatevr she
does, one thing for sure is that she would raise her child well. If
you want to be a part of your child's life, start working.

Do you wonder why the mother didn't go to the interview after filing
the appeal? She doesn't want to be with her husband anymore?
