Exclamation Proving Home Ties - Business Visa Application for young individual

Hello there, My name's Adam a 22 year old UK employee, working in my company now for over 3 years. I have recently been denied an E-2 Visa as we received the wrong advice from the lawyers. We are now applying for a B1 for myself to train our new U.S acquisition and to integrate our systems that we use here in London.

I have stated that I will be training the U.S employees for 6 weeks, my trip will be paid for by the company and I have the skills and authorisation to provide this type of training.

My main concern is providing home ties, I currently still live with my family, my car is fully paid out and I have no assets or home ties that I pay for currently. Of course I have my job, gym membership, friends etc but I can't imagine these will be strong enough ties?

Can you please provide me with your thoughts? It will be very much appreciated

Addressing the reason you were refused an E2 strikes me as being the much bigger issue.

Have you applied for ESTA?

My E-2 Visa was refused under Section 214(b) As they didn't feel that I was a specialist enough in my field to grant that type of Visa.

I applied for an ESTA the other day and it get's declined straight away as I have to select that my Visa has been refused previously.

My CEO has written me a letter saying that the E-2 Visa got refused and what my intentions are now and what my training is needed for etc.

Wouldn't an L1 have been more suitable in this situation; even if the OP intends to remain on UK payroll. Seems far more suited than an E-2.

If he doesn't have the skill needed for an E-2, how would he have a skill needed for the L-1? Also he is only going to be in the US for 6 weeks.

Why do you even need proof of your ties to the UK for the B-1? You are using it only for a business trip not for recreational travel.

To be honest I've never gone through this visa process so I'm just reading other people's reviews and seeing if I fit all criteria. Hopefully they will bear in mind my age and my job as a home tie if needed.

As I'm going for training purposes, would you all recommend for me to take a training manual with me about our systems? Do you think they will ask for proof of this? Thanks

I doubt the embassy wants to see a training manual. A letter from your employer, outlining the reason for the trip, and the date you're expected back at work, will be more helpful.

Slightly off topic, but I hope the lawyers gave you the consequences for the rest of your life, should you get a denial.

If you are talking about ESTA being denied for some time after a visa denial, he's already experienced that after the E-2 denial.

Each time the OP completes ESTA for rest of life, answer to question have you ever been denied a visa is yes, same when he applies for a visa, have you ever been denied a visa before
Unless those questions are ever removed, this follows him for life
