Seems USCIS have updated there website to be more accurate and detailed in processing times.
Check the link out above. I think it's a great, long overdue update.

I’m assuming it’s giving the best and worse cases with that time range but at least it gives people a better idea.

Re: Processing Times
For me, I can expect to wait between 8.5 months and 23.5 months.. I wonder what kind of statistical equation was used to work out the averages. I only ponder that thought as I know some people have had there green card miraculously within 4/5 months.

Re: Processing Times
In my case the transfer was a forerunner of the interview. Transferred to NBC then local office for interview scheduling. Had an interview date notification about 2-3 months after the initial transfer.

Re: Processing Times
Lol, even less hope now.
My i130 hasn't been updated since i filed in May 2017, but my i485 has been stuck on 'We are scheduling your interview' since August 2017 - the Dallas TX (which i assume is my local one) office won't accept enquiries on any cases filed after August 2015.
Their family based adjustments time range is 14.5 - 31.5 months :|

Up to 46 months That's a bit different from the 'give or take 15 months' estimate that was being bandied about when I applied last year. Not that it worries me, monies already saved for N400 just waiting for application day to come up - and it seems to be coming up fast!

Re: Processing Times
My N-400 went from estimated completion Dec 2018 to now April 2019. I filed in Oct 2017... so looking at 15 months. And that's being optimistic. By the time of my interview, I will have married and had a child. Talk about updating the form at the interview!

At least you'll still have your USC in time to kick 'The Donald' out of office
