N400 with no job
I'm looking to take 6 months out to work on a side project while living off savings. My date that I can file my N400 is November 27th.
Will being out of work as I go through the citizenship process cause any issues? Is any part of it related to your current employer or job status?

You are not required to be employed. No issue at all.

Being unemployed is not an issue. Just be sure that your tax returns are up-to-date.
