Default Making my first entry to USA on a DV Green Card Visa

Hi All Experts here

I'm a DV lottery winner making my first entry to USA at San Francisco very
soon.

Anybody here has any experience with the immigration and customs officers to
share?
How is the procedure at the airport checkpoint like? Will the immigration
officer conduct another interview? How long will the long thing last?

I am only staying for a week in US during this visit. Have to make this
visit as my DV1 visa expires soon. I intend to return home to settle some
unfinished business and then return to USA again 6 months later. Is this
okay?

Thank you in anticipation.

You show the immigrant visa with the envelope to the officer, and he will
ask you to go to secondary inspection. There, another officer will take the
visa, open the envelope. He then will take your fingerprints and put the I-551
stamp into your passport. You need to have an address for them to send the
actual card to. Until you receive the card, the stamp is your proof of
Permanent Residency.

May or may not be. You had 6 months already to finish up in your home country...

Welcome to the United States, you might want to take less than 6 months to reenter the USA. Congratulations though and do you plan to settle down in San Francisco?
