L2 to H1B - can i travel with H1B cap approval?

L2 to H1B - can i travel with H1B cap approval?
Hi - entered the H1B lottery and was successful. I am now planning to change from my current L2 visa to H1B in October with consular processing in London (not a change of status while remaining in US).
Question: does anyone know if I'm able to leave the US and re-enter the US prior to October (eg for holiday) on my existing L2? The L2 is still valid (as is my spouses L1) and i wont officialy change visa from L2 until October which is the earliest the H1B allows you to get the stamp.

As Ian said, yes you can. You haven't changed your status yet and your spouse still has the L-1.
