Hi,

Anybody claimed INS fees as a moving expense? Or is it stretching the boundaries somewhat?

Doug.

We just ate it.

However, I have seen suggestions for including immigration ( and customs)fees as part of
total expenses to be deducted from 2% of Gross Adjusted Income. One does this in Schedule
A under miscelleneous expenses. One Ref: http://omni.cc.purdue.edu/~alltson/Sabbat.html

Could Immigration fees be "union dues" under Schedule A -- after all we came to join "a
perfect union" according to the preamble to the US constitution ?

On Thursday I hit a deer. It was a union. Possibly perfect.. Can I claim....

a hood a grill a passenger headlight a turn signal a power steering bottle 2 x power
steering juice a hubcap

$300 should cover it

Grinch now driving a gold escort estate with a green hood and grill and who spent most of
the afternoon with a truck, a chain and a socket set trying to get the hood to lock

If only you had mounted it, then you didn't have to hedge like this.

These are component parts of a barbeque equipment; aren't they smart, these
designers at Ford ?

mmm...when you subtract the $2.00/pound barbeque meat ( and owl-chow) you may come out
even --or more appropriately -- flat.
