I am having a tough situation and I hope any experts out there could share some of their
thoughts. Thanks.

I filed an I-485 under EB-3 in 1999 when every EB category was current. I got married
after that, but the priority date retrogressed and I couldn't file my wife's case then. I
applied for a new I-140 under EB-2 with the same company and got it approved. I filed a
new I- 485 with my wife added after the priority date for EB-2 became current last year. I
was waiting for the priority date for EB-3 to become current so that I could add my wife
to the previous I-485 too.

Here came the problem. The priority date for EB-3 became current this month, but I
received the approval notice for the previous I-485. I don't know what I can do with the
approval. What will happen to the second I-485 if I accept this approval? What will happen
to my wife's case?

I would appreciate any thoughts.
