Default Enforcemen bill H.R. 4437??

Hey everybody:

I was talking to a friend of mine on messenger and he told me about this new bill for immigration:

http://www.diggersrealm.com/mt/archives/001446.html

I am astonished!, Are they really going to make this happen?

Definitely going to be immigration bill time in the coming months. And with a pissed-off electorate and major elections coming up this November, think it's more likely to take the tough side.

However, the end results will be same old hypocrisy. And the electorate are probably stupid enough to buy it. IMO, the only way to cure the total mess that is US immigration would be start again with a clean slate. Twiddling, fiddling and throwing money at white elephants (e.g. "the wall") are certainly not going to solve it.

I understand illegal immigration has become a HUGE problem in this country but I agree with you, I don't think this bill is going to fix it.
Anybody else out there?
Thanks for your response fatbrit, You always have my back!!, my favorite mad sheep!!

Our atty. told us of a Democrat-backed bill that is much fairer than
what HR 4437 is. One of the provisions of 4437 is that it if you as a
resident alien don't report a change of address within 10 *days*, it is
considered a felony (!)

I will post the details here.

Yah... so? How is this substantially different from what's already happening? Currently, you must report a change of address within 10 days - that's already the law. In fact (and I quote from the AR-11), "Failure to report is punishable by fine or imprisonment and/or deportation."

Still unclear what will happen, but remember the Number One Rule in US Politics is to follow the money.

Business wants cheap labour, Politicians want to look good to whoever they percieve is there electorate.

What is right has no impact in any of these deliberations, however you define right.

The more I learn and see the working of the US system the more corrupt I realise it is. Quite an eye opener.

I have got to stop listening to AM radio and watching the news.

Well according to 9 News, just a smidging, but should be back in the 60's for the weekend.

Footie season has started, so should be game on for Saturday.

FELONY!!! DOES THE PERSON WHO DRAFTED THIS LAW KNOWS WHAT FELONY IS?

Felony is a generic term employed to distinguish certain high crimes
from minor offenses known as misdemeanors.

How is the Homeland Security going to prove that the resident alien who
does not declaire change of address,COMMITED A FELONY?

IN CRIMINAL LAW THE BURDEN OF PROFF IS ON THE STATE PROCECUTOR!
IN DUBIO PRO REO! It means in English ...beyond reasonable doubt!

All
felonies...homiside,mayhem,arson,rape,burglary,rob bery,larceny,prison
escape and rescue of a felon require INTENT OR AT LEAST GROSS
NEGLIGENCE!

An alien can just say that he was sick after moving,or he did not find
time or he JUST forgot to make change of address application at the
Post office.

SO...WHERE IS THE INTENT?(IF YOU KNOW WHAT INTENT IN CRIMINAL SENSE
MEANS).WHERE IS THE CULPABLE NEGLIGENCE?
