E-2 visa appointment wait times, London
Hi all
Thought some might be interested in the following regarding my experience of E-2 appointment scheduling at the US embassy in London:-
Submitted D-160 today and within an hour received an email with a link to schedule an appointment. The first available was February 15.

Check the schedule regularly if you want an earlier appointment as some earlier slots will get released due to cancellations. However, don't you need to receive official notice first from the E Treaty Visa Office letting you know that they have reviewed your documents before scheduling an appointment? They can take ~30 working days to do this, based on my recent experience with an E1.
