Dual Citizenship for children
I've been trying to read the links in this forum about citizenship, but I am still confused about one subject:
I am American, my wife is British and a permanent resident, both of us live in the U.S. Will my wife seeking U.S. citizenship have an effect on my child's (and future children's) ability to get dual citizenship?

When my first child was born, we were in the same boat. Our daughter was able to get her UK Citizenship just fine (I'm a US Citizen, my husband is Britsh)
We just registered her:

Then with the paperwork they send you back, we got her a UK Passport, and she's got a US Passport as well.
Even when she swears in as a US Citizen, you can still show proof that your child has UK lineage and therefore eligible for UK Citizenship.
