Hi everyone,

My husband and I are trying to get an L1 blanket visa interview in the US embassy in London.

The company immigration lawyer has prepared the pack, we have submitted our DS-160 forms, paid the money online, but there are no appointments showing up online in London. Called the embassy help desk and they say they will release interview dates in the future.

There are interview dates in Belfast available early September. I am wondering if we should go to Belfast for the interview. Is not ideal because we live in London and would need to sort out childcare. However if it is only way then we would do it.

Have anyone else experience this and has any advice?

I see the problem, but you've also explained the two possible choices:

1) go to Belfast for a quicker appointment
2) keep waiting for an appointment at London

The decision is on you and the company.

Advice? Sure... don't do anything that is truly inconvenient for you if you don't have to! Is there some sort of life/death decision involved in this? If not, wait for London to release dates.
