Canadian Citizen applying for L1A visa at a physical border
Has anyone here had any experience applying for an L1A visa at the Toronto Pearson airport or any of the physical borders such as Rainbow Bridge or Detroit?

Re: Canadian Citizen applying for L1A visa at a physical border
I have. I actually applied for an L1B Visa at the border crossing at Buffalo back in 2014. I showed up on a Saturday afternoon and they weren't best pleased to see me as they were very busy. I was sent to secondary of course, spent about two hours waiting while an officer scrutinized the package that I gave to them (provided by my employers lawyer). They took payment, stamped my passport and off I went.

On the pedantic side -- Canadians do not get "visas." Most Canadian non-immigrant classifications are visa exempt. [Exceptions being in the E and the K categories]. Go straight to admission and skip "visa"
