Remember that this is something every single H-1B candidate struggles with.
For that matter, that every American struggles with (minus the "we don't
sponsor" issue of course) when looking for a job in another city.
Yet there are well over 65000 people every year who succeed. In other words,
there must be a way....
Personally, it took a lot of patience for me, about ten years or so, but it
was worth it.

I don't know how people find jobs through those boards. I've found every single job I've ever had through personal contacts. You'd be better off spending your time networking because I suspect most international applications wouldn't get a second look.
Any decent HR person should be able to file an LCA by themselves. An attorney isn't really needed for an E3.

LCA for Australians is now available online
Guys,
The LCA for Australians is now available online. I help out a family member and it gets approved within seconds.

Good luck.

Mate that link you gave me for advance.org is very helpful. I got responses from both mentors that I emailed to from financial services industry. Both highly placed Australians gave their bit of advice.
But one of them delegated his assistant to respond to me and guess what the assistant is actually going to forward my details to a hiring manager. I don't know if anything will come out of it but to even get that far is very encouraging.
Networking! good advice thing, thank you.
On another note, can anyone explain aviezer's post, does he mean the employer's can now apply for LCA's online. How does the process work? Could this be something we could tell a prospective employer?
