Lots of people have renewed an E2 visa. What sort of information, exactly, are you looking for? If you want good information, you have to give good information.

I have been working here on an E2 for 5 years, it expired earlier this year. My employer and the person handling my application really don’t know anything about visas so has put most of the work back on me. I was hoping to find a more simple application process this time around such as some kind of renewal application, but it looks like I need to go through everything I did the last time around (submit a ring folder full of information on me and our company). I am currently here on my valid I-94 (expires Jan 2011), problem is… I can’t leave the county because I can’t come back in without the visa (no good if I have to leave on business or for any emergency). How long does the renewal process typically take? Is there not some kind of fast track application for people who have already gone through the initial approval (my case 5 years ago)?
