Just chiming in that the agent in LA should have this information readily available if they are a large enough agency and have dealt with foreign actors and models in the past. They should also have an immigration attorney on retainer for just this purpose.

Ultimately, it's up to the attorney acting for the agent to decide how to go forward visa-wise.

It is a very reputable agency and they are providing advise but my friend wanted to check things out for herself as well so that she could understand what was being suggested and to double check it was possible . I appreciate the guarded warning in that statement thou, it is definitely an industry where you need to have your wits about you, especially when kids are involved. Thanks everyone, l will keep you posted.

She should work from the opposite angle -- find out what the agent proposes, and then look into it to ensure that it is appropriate for her child, even retaining her own attorney if necessary.
