G'day......... For some reason I have landed back at this site again after a pretty lengthy absence....Beten some great reading so thought I would do a quick update.

I won't go over all the past posts cos that would take all night but where are we at now?

We are still living in SW Western Australia and loving it. I will always have itchy feet and every now and then consider moving to the city or inter state but I think this place is now my forever home.

My son who you may remember I left behind in UK with his girlfriend is now married to her and living out here in Perth. He is a copper and she has a great job. They plan to buy their own place very soon and I hope I will soon be a Granny

My daughter decided Uni isn't for her so is now working full time saving to head off travelling the world. She did a big trip last year and is well and truely bitten by the travelling bug.

My youngest son.................you may well remember all the worries I had about him and his behaviour for a while..........well he has just left home and joined the Australian Army! It was always his dream and despite being rather concerned he wouldn't make it at one stage he proved me very wrong and sounds like he has found his vocation in life with the army.

Me? I'm still single I really am NO good at this relationship lark! I hung up my Chefs whites a couple of years ago and am now an Auxiliary Police Officer........At times I love it.........At times I hate it.........Still hanging out for a lotto win!

Went back to UK for 3 weeks in July. First time I've been back and couldn't wait to get back home to Australia. I consider myself very, very lucky to be living in this amazing country.
