Default Wiring UK pension direct to overseas bank account

I mailed my pension application to Wolverhampton in June together with my Antiguan banks wiring instructions. The banks procedures mandate the use of a SWIFT code and any funds originating in the UK must go through their correspondent bank in the UK - Barclays. The bank insists that there is no other way to do the transfer.
In July I received a call from a UK Pensions customer rep. My application is fine but the wiring of the pension funds to my bank in Antigua seems to be a problem. Pensions is effectively saying -
1. They don't use SWIFT codes
2. They won't make the transfer through a "third party". Apparently they consider the correspondent bank Barclays to be a third party.
This creates a stalemate situation as far as receiving my pension goes.
Has anyone else run into this problem?

All UK pensions to overseas go through Citi Bank. Don't know why International Pensions cannot just send it to Citi and they send it on to Antigua - unless of course Citi don't have a correspondent bank in Antigua?
Why not call International Pensions in Newcastle , or email them. They have been very efficient in responding to me in the past. you can easily google the links as I've not got them to hand.
