Web Developer - Costa del Sol
Finders and Sellers are expanding and are looking for a new web developer.
As our company develops and our client base expands, the pressure is on to improve the user experience of our website. We have many new functions and ideas we wish to implement in order to establish ourselves as the biggest and best free property advertising portal in the world, and with a TV campaign looming we now need to increase our team and recruit another web developer.
Web Development
Finders and Sellers is an international marketing service that specialises in online property advertising and we are now in the market to recruit another experienced web developer for our real estate Web Portal.
The successful candidate will speak excellent English, be an open minded, motivated and organised individual who has the ability to work within a small dedicated team and can demonstrate experience in web development, preferably for the real estate industry.
The position is a full time post and will be based in our Spanish office on the Costa del Sol.
The salary is negotiable and is dependent on qualifications and experience.
The project consists of a property portal which will receive high volumes of entries from different sources (xml and blm data-feeds) and also single entries from users. Those entries will then be searchable and filtered through the site.
Requisites
Good software design.
Experienced in Database Design and Management.
Server-side programming (preferably PHP but not mandatory).
Experienced with scalability and working with high volume traffic websites.
Experienced in server Management (Preferably Unix systems)
Experienced with datafeeds (RETS/IDX).
Desirable
Some Knowledge of HTML / CSS / Javascript
Experienced in real estate websites and MLS.
SEO Knowledge/Experience.
