Translation agency from Berlin wants to collaborate with English native speakers.

Are you interested in languages and international cultures? Looking to get hands-on experience in translation? Milengo offers you the opportunity to put your language skills to use and become a professional freelance translator.

You will be part of a young team of junior translators and you will receive thorough training, feedback and support from our international team of professional translators and project managers.

Your Tasks:

- Learn the fundamental skills required to be a professional translator/editor
Correct machine translations of beauty product descriptions from Swedish into English (UK)
- Learn how to use computer-aided translation tools to make your work much easier
- Collaborate closely with our translation project managers and senior translators

Your Profile:

- English native-speaker with excellent writing skills and error-free spelling and punctuation
- Fluent in Swedish
- Strong interest in and knowledge of beauty and cosmetic products
- Availability 15+ hours per week for a period of approx. 2 months
- Own PC/Mac with stable internet access (translation tools are online)
- Previous translation experience is a plus but not a requirement
- Precise and dedicated approach to work
