Pamukkale's limestone pools

Any tourists in Turkey - and I hope there are some - should certainly visit the limestone pools of Pamukkale in the south-west of the country. It's fifty years since I was there, and the pools appear (from photos) to have been beautified a great deal since then. But I have never forgotten them, and they stand out as one of the half-dozen most memorable natural sites I've seen. (Geiranger Fjord in Norway is #1, in case you were wondering!)

I've been there although it was twenty odd years ago. It was on my list of places I simply must see. Was a very , very happy day.
