Default Journo request - Residency permit issues

Hi all,
I'm writing a story for a UK newspaper about the new Turkish residency rules and the nightmares expats are having. So I'm looking for three Brits who'd be willing to share their ikamet horror stories. Have you been forced to miss an important event/funeral/business trip? Have you been unexpectedly stuck outside Turkey? Have you been deported or threatened with such? Please get in touch via PM - thanks!
