Yep, don't do be drawn in by cheap housing and quick reply HR guys. East coast Canada is the lowest paying side and the employers will pay peanuts expecting their monkeys to do tricks. Do yourself a big favor and look in Alberta for employment unless you are happy with peanuts and living in a time warp. Remember this simple rule, truck drivers are required all over Canada so why position yourself in the lowest paying area that lacks any opportunities for your family. The Maritime provinces are a nice place for a walk but not prosperity.

Stay away from Alberta a the present time , PNP/PR has been difficult there for a while and now the recent changes have chucked a huge spanner into the works again .
SK or MB seem the best route presently , different set of rules on the Prairie although still not so simple as it once was .

Toby the problem Im hearing with AB is companies there are messing drivers about ,it happened to me,so if a driver can get an LMO or is it a LMIA east coast I would say go for it then move to western Canada.
