Best personally: got a very nice promotion.
Best overall: watching my daughters grow up, get great grades, win tennis tournaments, work hard at their respective manual labor jobs, sail through the treacheries of high school undaunted, charm people at parties and hang out with a great group of friends. I'm so lucky to be related to these amazing people.
Worst personally: getting hit by a car on my bike. That sucked and I'm still in a bit of pain.
Worst overall: my dog got very sick with cancer and was dead within a matter of weeks. I loved that sweet guy. His lease is still hanging by my front door and I can't bear to get rid of it.
