There's a private range near the in-laws where occasionally they do a charity day, last one was to raise money for a local soldier who was hurt.

$100 to fire off a full magazine on full auto...they load it up and away you go, no real training or oversight...which is slightly scary.

I did that in Darra in Pakistan, but it was just a couple of dollars and included a James Bond style pen-gun. It seems relevant in Darra and not so in any place I choose to live.

I think I've seen Swedish Primula-a-like in IKEA here. OH regards the stuff as a foul European perversion, the same way I feel about Hershey's "chocolate".

The owner of the range seems to just say, we have not had a problem before, its legal, the parents are involved and they are in compliance with all laws. "It is an industrial accident" he said.

'Chief Schmaderer said his officers were "taking this very hard". ' His family probably are as well. Can the police not recognise a pellet gun when it's fired? 30 shots sounds a tad excessive, even for American police.

From what I read the robber was inside the restaurant, and the police [I]outside[/I, so WTF was a crew member doing in the restaurant lobby, i.e. between the cops and the robber?
