Yes, quite! I was sooo glad that we added a gas furnace to the new heating system we had installed last December. I would have been Mr Super-Unpopular with Mrs P and little Miss P if I had taken the advice of a certain somebody down in Texas, that a modern, efficient heatpump system would be sufficient "as far south as we are".

It would be most appreciated if you kept it next time!!! I had to wear long pants for about two weeks solid, skate on icy roofs, the frost has burnt my banana leaves and I'm not sure what it's done to my grapefruit and orange trees that were just about ready to drop their fruit. It's just not cricket old boy.

I believe (don't quote me, though) it is to do with the La Niña system that we have this year. Makes for more widespread colder air in winter.
