I wasn't shooting anyone nor have any idea if the other dude deserved it or not. Some random dude told his kid to shoot someone. I can't imagine why anyone would think that ok so not sure how you figure 'I'd fit in' but whatever....

Your post seemed to suggest a casual indifference to who the homeowner wanted shooting.

In any case is was a JOKE, and I wouldn't suggest that you REALLY don't care about one human being killing another.

I've never experienced baked beans being "off". I had some this morning with breakfast, Heinz of course, and they were delicious, of course.

Ive moved on from heinz, lidl is a similar experience, but marks and spencers own brand is just ‘more.’ What i cant abide is the sugar laden american attempts... Even adding bacon in the can doesnt help, they are all nasty.

Lets see if ican interest you...

Heinz decided to get all PC, they reduced the salt and sugar a bit in a lot of their stuff, including tomato soup and beans. The result is a bit bland. They also import their lima beans from south america not the eu, when working for maersk we actually saw the emptied containers coming from their northern uk factory, a few beans left on the floor, and jokingly grew some heinz beans plants

M&S use italian beans, they have a bit more flavour d'bean about them. Tomato paste comes in 50 gallon plastic drums from Italy and now southern eastern european countries plus turkey. A looser pasata in 20000 gallon plastic bags inside containers a la wine. The cheap supermarket brands dont care about salt and sugar, so the result is heinz lose. Also i knw they charge ridiculous money outside the uk. A tin of beans in the uk is about 20 pence, or 25 for heinz or 35 for m&s... 10p on an offer...

I used to work for an M&S food supplier myself. There is a reason why their crisp are superior to most premium brand crisps, and that is only from the processing side. Coincidentally I also knew a potato merchant, and he confirmed that potatoes delivered for frying M&S crisps had to be absolutely the very best available or they would be rejected. If the sugar content was too high, the crisps would turn brown in the fryer as the sugar caramelized. M&S crisps are always very blond.

It was a similar story with M&S biscuits, the very best ingredients resulting in a product that is better than the market-leading brands.

Also neither M&S biscuits nor crisps went through the supplier warehouses, so there was a better chance that neither were reduced to crumbs!

At this point I would like to put in a word for M&S sausage rolls and scotch eggs.
