WTF in America

Re: WTF in America
I don't think I've ever had multiple children in the house at once, but I do take your point. Like I said, something that I feel I need to address in the near future.

Re: WTF in America
My daughter's school sent an annual letter to parents...asking that when visiting a friend's house parents should always check that all firearms are locked away.

This is WTF in Mississippi. The shopping circular gave yesterday for the weekend sales. Ahhh, this is a sale?????
4 Honeycrisp Apples for $5
When I lived in NY we went apple picking in September and October and bought a 1/2 bushel for $10.

Re: WTF in America
If you are visiting someone with your 2 year old, it is hoped that you have an eye on them at all times and that they are only allowed in the same room with you or in an adjoining playroom where you are see them through the doorway.
Our guns are kept in the bedroom in a locked safe and only one is out for use if necessary and when the grandkids come, the room's door is closed and the children know they are not allowed to go into a closed room.
We also never placed our good things away when the grandkids visited because they learnt or needed to learn that little fingers are not allowed to touch whatever they wanted.

Re: WTF in America
This is both WTF and expected at the same time:
This “pro-life” Congressman was caught telling his extramarital boo to get an abortion.
Triple whammy of a pro-life Republican promoting abortion to his mistress, claiming not to be pro-life and that it was his staff who wrote his opinion on that issue. If you do a bit more digging, you'll find that his chief of staff wrote a long letter to him saying how the staff keep quitting because he is an insufferable tyrant.
