Default Winter weather 2016-2017

We don't get much bad weather here, but a large swath of NC is battening down the hatches for overnight snow tonight of 4"-6", which is a pretty big deal in NC (except for the mountains).

We already had sufficient bread and milk and I picked up beer and mushrooms this morning, so I think we have the supplies we need to see us through the weekend.

Already had offers from the apartment complex to pay people to shovel snow.

I installed the FEMA app last week to get warnings to my phone

We have a severe weather warning, maybe an inch or two of snow. All due to these arctic winds. My wife panics and has been to the grocery store. I just stick chains on and mostly its fine. the 45 mph winds make it coldish with highs of around 30 ish

First time this winter that our supposed coastal area of Mississippi is under a freezing rain warning with possible snow later this evening.

Started here at 8:30am. It was intermittent for a while but now just full on snow storm. I'm at the Oklahoma/Texas border.

I could have said you live in the wrong part of Texas but it's freaking cold down here as well today.

It's still only grey and damp here - there was a little drizzle earlier this afternoon, but nothing much has happened yet.

We have had a fair amount of snow this winter, biggest snow dump was one day last month, 30cm in a 24 hour period which for this area is quite a lot. Snow days at some schools and colleges due to highway driving hazards and roads not being clear.

Overall it's been colder then the last few winters, and more snow.

Were under an arctic outflow warning earlier in the week, today it's partly cloudy and around +2C, they say snow possible.

Cypress has been just above freezing most of today, and Wunderground has it hitting 25F tonight. Still no snow, though.

Nothing here yet. Looking forward to a hot chocolate on the balcony tonight. Not seen snow in a long time.

The other half has work tomorrow. Not too worried about snow for her, but rather black ice.

High of 8F, -10F this morning, blue skies not that bad until the wind started blowing, looks like the wind is blowing the snow south.

No snow and they have removed it from the forecast for tonight. A pleasent 34F at the moment.

Sun to Thurs next week currently call for snow and/or freezing rain.

went down to 22F in Austin last night. Didn't go above freezing all day. Texas houses are NOT built for this! I've been caulking drafty spots all afternoon....
