Saw this while driving around Concord, CA today. The red, four-wheeled vehicle is about the size of a 'pram' / 'baby carriage', but lower. It was self propelled, but was followed by two guys; one on a 'segway' scooter and one on an e-bike. They seemed to be controlling it, or perhaps just monitoring it. Looks like some sort of test of a delivery device. It was traveling on the main section of the road. I then ate at a local restaurant, and saw it again; a worker at the restaurant said he's been seeing this 'procession' going on for months, so there may be some test facility nearby.

I was reading about Royal Mail delivering by drones yesterday. I bet they don't have googly eyes.
