What gig are you going to?

Re: What gig are you going to?
Am currently bummed out that Haim's two gigs in NYC are both sold out.
Last one I went to was Sia. Or The Black Keys, can't remember which.

We have tickets for Lady Gaga next week, Joe Nichols and Smokey Robinson at Del Mar, Sarah McLachlan 3rd row at Humphreys and Huey Lewis at Del Mar.
Then it's Lynyrd Skynyrd (last time I saw them was Leeds uni '76) and Chicago at Humphreys.
I was tempted to get tickets to see BB King again but the reviews suggest he is losing it and should be retiring.

I'll be seeing Guy Penrod of the Gaither vocal band at the Brooklyn tabernacle in October. Looking forward to it - he's one of my favorite gospel singers

We are limited to what is close by due needing a babysitter. The jobing.com arena is just 15 mins drive away but most concerts are just so expensive.
Ed Sheeran - August 31st, no prices yet.
The history of the Eagles - Oct 1st, $250 per seat at the back of an ice hockey arena, screw that.

In June: Crookers, The Hood Internet, Electric Six, Shannon and the Clams.
In July: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
In August: The Zombies, Mad Decent Block Party
That's the stuff on my radar, although I'll probs only go to a couple. I'll also see if I can score a ticket to Outside Lands, and then there's also Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in September.
Saw them at The Fox in Oakland on Tuesday. Although I don't really listen to them it was such a fantastic experience! John Grant also opened and he's brilliant.

Going to Governor's Ball in NYC, next week, which will be my first big festival experience here. Found that in an ad in NYT, but we usually read the local entertainment listings paper, and are on email lists for local venues. Seen some good shows here. Ting Tings was a great gig that springs to mind. Folk don't seem to dance as much at gigs though, struck us as odd.

Trying to talk the wife into getting tickets to see Paul Weller in September if that counts.
