Vacation. Met up with my best mate out there which has fired up the homesickness big time, but that’s another thread. Is that who you were out with? Saw the AWS guys everywhere!!!! Must have been a huge conference. The cabbie we rode with reckoned 50,000 were there! Was that right?

Yes, my company flew a few of us out there. 50k sounds right - 35k attendees and 15k supporting.

It was a crazy few days! Casinos full of nerds.

I love Vegas, I don't gamble much, but I like the lights and walking down the strip, and some of the other things that Vegas offers like the aquarium at Mandalay Bay and the fountains in front of I think Bellagio?

I miss going, used to be a weekend trip back in the day,.

Had to laugh at a guy staggering along the Strip with his drunk girl friend draped over his shoulder and then stopping by a trash can, lowering her to the ground and upping his own cheer into it
