Not sure. I have seen Mars bars out here, but they are hard to find and they have almonds in them. Which is fine by me.

It's not. Milky Way is another bar made by Mars and tastes totally different. I find Mars bars almost everywhere (Safeway, Walmart, mom and pop shops, etc.) including dark and milk chocolate.

Never seen them with almonds. The following is typical of the dark chocolate bar in California.

That'll be the butyric acid, which I think is a by-product of production. I really can't understand why they do that for their 'main line' bars because they make other chocolate that doesn't have that taste.

Oh well, everyone seems to be desensitised to it here, I just opt out, myself
