Re: UK TV Programs
Watched the first series of Hit & Miss (Direct TV Audience Network On Demand). Hubby wasn't aware of the erm 'extra' plot twist and got the shock of his life .
Also watched Injustice (Direct TV Audience Network On Demand) with James Purefoy. Was OK but saw the ending coming.

For those who remembered Brookside on Channel 4...it is returning this November.

Re: UK TV Programs
Anyway, so apart from Mock the Week that returned, QI is also back.
Moone Boy, I think it's a new Irish comedy? Anyway, sounded vaguely amusing when I read about it a bit back but can't quite remember what it's actually about now, though I see a couple of episodes have just popped up.

Since Jersey counts on me to put up the links here goes:

" Jimmy has often been cited as a lovable rogue by the media. He is returning to Brookside when it returns to Channel 4 in November 2012." Looks like it's true

BTW the sick father in The Good Cop was Helen Worth's (Gail from Corrie) husband in real life. She has aged much better than him.

Re: UK TV Programs
Parade's End is the the beebs answer to Downton and their big hope for a period drama.
I didn't really rate the first episode, but we've not got around to watching the second one yet, have it lined up and the previous for it did look better, but the characters just seemed very meh to begin with.

Little slow to get going though, but some amusing characters. Good little story and worth the watch.
Also saw the first episode of Moone Boy, which is a Irish comedy series about a kid who has imaginary friends. It has the bloke who was in IT Crowd.
Really bizarre show this but surprisingly amusing and well worth a punt if you want a short comedy to check out.
