If you like the GBBO you might like the extra slice programme. Can be quite amusing. Beats shit Italian TV anyway. Even UK adverts beat shit Italian TV.

Aw c'mon - Italian telly is SO bad it's like the car accident with the decapitation you can't HELP but slow down for.

The soaps! The REALITY TV!!!! The AWFUL, AWFUL singing/dancing shows! They are sooooo natural and real. And the NUTELLA and Baci ads.

Enjoy - they are all mad!

I used to get shipped to Italy every summer - and I lost a TON of weight because I was never indoors to watch the crappy telly.

I'll try the extra slice - ta.

Chasing Shadows

It's a 4 parter from Channel 4 I think it is?

Anyway, it's a crime drama, where one of the cops is a bit of a socio-path and they're looking for what they think is a serial killer. It's a bit of a slow first episode and it's quite dry, but quite good we thought.

Loads of recognisable faces from various shows too.

Anyone catch "Our Girl"?

Beeb military drama about a female medic out in the field.

Any other shows worth keeping an eye out for?

Marvellous BBC 2 Thursday @ 9 pm. True story about a man whose mother worried that he would not be able to take care of himself after she died. Described by one critic as "unmissable".

The missus saw that and quite enjoyed it.

Anyone catch "Glue"?

It's weird and the first episode was quite slow, but it wasn't bad. Bunch of teen/young adults living in the countryside and one of them is murdered.

Mount Pleasant, is also back for a 4th series, we've not caught it yet but have it lined up. It's a fun show from the previous series though.

In the club

Bit cheesy 6 parter about 5 pregnant women meeting at antenatal . How their stories intertwine. Hermione Norris as the older woman with the student boyfriend. The woman from the IT crowd as the lesbian falling in love with her sperm donor .. But easy wAtching and good contraceptive
