Love and Marriage...6 parts shown earlier this year. Comedy/drama...so good I watched all 6 episodes last night. I wonder if there will be a second series.

Call the Midwife Couldn't agree more. A simple drama, excellent acting, good sets and costumes, excellent background music All is all a very good show
Of course it helps that I grew up in the 50s / 60s
My BH keeps asking me questions like what is gripe water and garibaldi biscuits!

The rights to the excellent series Last Tango In Halifax have been bought by Diane Keaton with a view to making a US version. Good luck with that Diane.

Why do the Yanks always do that? Copy us - it never works out - Americans just don't have the same sense of humor as us Brits.

I thought the UK series The Syndicate was brilliant...the US version Lucky 7 bombed after the first episode.
