Re: Trainee Redneck
The post I quoted says nothing about Florida.
I took the post to be generalized regarding the south.

It is. What's your point? Da Koop was talking specifically about Florida.
There are plenty of mountains in The South - the Appalachians are probably the second best known mountain range in the US (after the Rockies) and they start in northern Alabama, cross Georgia, and pretty much form the deviding line between TN and NC. Going northwards they then broaden and comprise much of western Virginia, some of eastern Kentucky, and the whole of West Virginia; the latter may, or may not be part of The South.

As for those mountains shown above we have bigger ant hills than that. There are some really nice beaches in Florida though except for the sand flies and the red tides.

"Mount Trashmore" is one of the highest elevation points in Florida:

As well - the "Confederate border" is effectively at Orlando. The southern half of Florida, had a different population migration pattern when it was settled, and those people came from the northeast. That's one reason why for decades Miami was called "the sixth borough."
Atlanta is not a redneck city and those who think that, have never been there.

Oh yeah, just reminded me. We just purchased a new top loader WM and front loader TD. I is a Whirlpool set, very different with computer chip and no agitator. Feel like I am coming up in the world with this new fangled machinery.

Suggested décor for house. Bed sheets for curtains, worn out, stained old sofa on front porch and don't forget Confederate flag. A rusty old Chevy pickup sitting on blocks in driveway would help also.

Yes, one on very street and two across from the schools.
Never ever eat at Waffle House unless you love your eggs up with a layer of yellow grease (supposedly butter, I think not) on the whites of the eggs and dirty tables and ripped booths.

I've never had a dirty table at Waffle House, the waitresses always seem quite fastidious about wiping the tables, nor a ripped booth. I always get the country ham, which is a better approximation to back bacon than the belly fat masquerading as bacon in the US, and a couple of eggs, plus hash browns scattered, covered, and capped.
