Sprouts - a real crowd-pleaser.
We're having our Thanksgiving dinner here (in Switzerland) on Saturday for former US expats. My friend is bringing sprouts, cooked with bacon and chestnuts.

I went to the American Women's Club in Zurich today for their TG lunch. It was delicious. They had green bean casserole. There were no sprouts.

Thank God they didn't have these concoctions:

Adventures in Finding Myself: Thanksgiving recipe #4 - Jello and Marshmallow Salad

Hmmmm. I wonder if anyone has ever tried to make candied sprouts (with marshmallows)?

Happy Thanksgiving to All British Expats

Lashings of ginger beer? Excellent! Personally it's nearly 4pm, two bottles of Starborough sauvignon plonk down, more to come I reckon!

One of my favorite dishes -- it goes so well with turkey! But to ensure there was no shortage of that important food group, I made a boned turkey breast wrapped in -- yes! -- more bacon.

What, the sprouts or the forum rules? Sprouts should be fairly obvious; forum rules, well I was mellow after yesterday's festivities, what can I say?!
