From looking at a response to BetaStar about Guilders, Ongiri said the Guilders would not be usable much longer (even though stores may continue to take them for a few months).

Is this true??? Damn but I have German marks saved at home for a trip to Germany in the future and don't want to cash them in now because the rate of exchange sucks.

Thanks for that. I didn't realize that some countries were switching earlier than Feb
28th (it turns out that Holland, Germany, France & Ireland are switching theirs
sometime before the end of February).
