Is Lysol concentrate = Dettol ??
Lysol concentrate. The small bottle like sold by Amazon below.
It smells a lot like Dettol. I know I can get Dettol at ethnic/Indian grocery stores but the ones they sell are made in India. I could order Dettol that is Made in UK online.
Read some years back that Lysol is the same as Dettol. The regular Lysol does not smell like Dettol and while smells can be due to added fragrances , Lysol does not react/feel to the skin like Dettol and unlike Dettol does not make water cloudy.

It's made by the same company as Dettol (Reckitt Benckiser) but I think it's still a different formula. I think Dettol made in India will be the same as Dettol made in the UK.

They are not the same.
The active ingredient in Dettol Liquid is chloroxylenol.
Lysol has a variety of active ingredients. The active ingredient in (which you can see by zooming in on the label) is o-Benzyl-p-Chlorophenol.
