Re: Let's talk about cars
Thanks Otto. Went for the Monroe rear shocks, but the Prime Choice quick assembly front struts.
Should ride like a brand new car when all is done.
Belle Tire wanted $1100.00 just for parts.
Got them myself for $325.00 on Amazon.
I know they have to make a living but that is insane.

Let us know how the Prime Choice ride.
A few years ago we rebuilt a Series 2A 5 Door Land Rover on a ex MOD chassis to convert it to lhd. The only shocks I could find to fit were Pro Comp and everyone panned them. They ran great and the buyer drove it from Virginia to the Florida Panhandle and as far as I know it is still going strong.

Re: Let's talk about cars
Was sad to see hime go, have enjoyed his part in the show for many years.
But, the new guy seems to be doing well.
My only wish is that they bugger off back to the UK and get back to the original format.
The US episodes, are not my favorite. But, did enjoy the Escort Cosworth episode.

Annoyingly Mike Brewer is the worst part.
I'll never forget when they did a Porsche 928, and he threw the 3-piece BBS RS' off the car thinking they weren't original - when they're actually a highly popular OEM addition.
In the words of Mike Brewer: ''olllld owt yer 'and fella you've got yaself a deal!

I mostly watch Roadkill over on YouTube, old Top Gear episodes through Amazon Prime all while patiently waiting for the Grand Tour to start again on the 8th!

I was referred on another forum to the news that Lamborghini has made an SUV. It's hideous. I think Chris Harris summed it up pretty well on Twitter:

The V12 Countach engine should be removed every 5000km for maintenance plus around 5mpg but what the heck.

There was also a Toureg (W12) that you could pair with any ol' V8.
Or one of these with any ol' V8!
