The trouble with the Elise is that you need two. One for each foot...

Just down the road from me. There's a reason this is called the Alpharetta Autobahn as people will often go flying at over a ton. I think this guy took it it little too far though.

Thanks Otto. Went for the Monroe rear shocks, but the Prime Choice quick assembly front struts.
Should ride like a brand new car when all is done.
Belle Tire wanted $1100.00 just for parts.
Got them myself for $325.00 on Amazon.
I know they have to make a living but that is insane.

What's a "shot" of Champagne? It must be a lot if three of them put you over the limit!

A couple of nice cars at our local cars & coffee.
Hadn't see the Lotus before. Very nice but very basic interior.
Would almost feel like my ass was riding along the road in that thing.

Think that's half the joy of the Elise.

My uncle had one, you could be going 40mph through the corners and feel like you were doing way more.

He used it as his daily, no idea how he could live with that every day of the week though.

I can't be bothered to see if it's here already, but you simply can't beat the Lamborghini Countach for stunning looks.

Or a Pinzgauer.

The early countach was stunning. The later 80s versions looked garish .

E-Type
Shelby Cobra 427
Citroen DS

all stunning.

Let me guess...you find the Jag stunning but not the AC/Shelby and DS?

Nope, I have never really liked the E-Type (though I respect it as an iconic car) mostly because of the weird combination of skinny tyres and wrapped-under body that leaves the wheels appearing to be set back in sunken hollows. The Cobra fully addresses those issues.

And I would happily sell a DS for scrap metal!

Citroen's aren't metal though... They're made from spit and Kleenex and held together by hope

Some of the updated modes also had a 'hope and a prayer' installed for reliability.

The 3 wheel mod was a great addition.
